Thames Valley Police VAWG Conference and Partner award!
On 3rd June Kaleidoscopic UK attended the Annual VAWG conference hosted by Thames Valley Police. There was an incredible line up of guest speakers including the inspirational celebrity and survivor Georgia Harrison who we had the pleasure of connecting with. All speakers delivered excellent presentations, highlighting key issues in the sector and tackling VAWG within the digital space. It was an incredible day and we were delighted when Priya was presented with a ‘VAWG Community and Partner Award 2024’ presented by the Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissioner and the Thames Valley Chief of Police for the incredible work Priya does within our charity as a passionate ISVA and facilitator.
Nominated by our founder Vickie we think her words speak for us all, we are sure you will agree:
“Priya shows kindness and compassion to all. Priya helps to facilitate our Liberation programme, Fun with mum groups, our Educate to Eradicate programme for children and those that support them as well as being fully immersed in children’s and Teen recovery programmes. Priya is loved by all attendees and team members. Priya shares her experiences to enhance knowledge within our bespoke training and is passionate in highlighting the realities, gaps and challenging myths in all areas of domestic and sexual violence.
Priya has amazing insight and ideas to support victim-survivors and enhance our services, recently helping to develop our SV awareness video which has had a huge impact. She is an incredible, inspirational, supportive and valued member of the team who we are blessed and honoured to have on board, Leading from the front and with the biggest heart always.”
Congratulations Priya x
What an amazing day we had, learning, networking and supporting all the hard work that goes into creating needed and vital change and bringing awareness to all areas of violence against women and girls. We are honoured to be a part of that and lots more to be done.
