ABOUT US

We provide multiple open-ended support groups throughout the survivor journey. These support groups are uniquely survivor-led, free, without threshold (i.e. anyone who has suffered any form of abuse), independent, and confidential.

A pilot of our ‘Liberation From Abuse’ programme will be running from February, 2020. ‘Liberation’ is a 6-week course, exploring all areas of abuse, such as: physical, emotional, financial, sexual and coercive control. These survivor-led sessions focus on enhancing your knowledge whilst providing useful tools to empower and liberate you along your journey to recovery whilst breaking the cycle. We hope to provide this service as a rolling programme helping 10 women on each course. Please use our referral forms to book your place on the course.

Our ‘Fun with Mum’ evenings provide a safe space to re-engage with your children whilst having lots of fun. We know how domestic abuse can ‘suck’ the fun out of family life.

This group, like all others Kaleisdoscopic groups, are FREE, independent and confidential.

These survivor-led 2 hour sessions provide activities for all ages with different types of fun and support. All families attending are in similar situations and the sessions will encompass peer-support and create a network. We will provide all the families with a light meal and refreshments. Please use the relevant referral form to book a session.

Kaleidoscopic UK will be delivering education, training and prevention programmes available for all. We will provide and deliver courses for all ages, through the eyes of survivors, with trauma-informed approaches, embedded with the latest research. #educate2eradicate #noexcuse4domesticabuse

We will provide information and awareness events to further educate about the signs, symptoms and effects of abuse. The events will be suitable for anyone from services, organisations to individuals. This will highlight trauma-informed approaches and useful tools for prevention and early intervention, as well as how to support victims/survivors.

In the long term, our services will be rolled out to areas beyond our current scope. We will eventually employ survivors from other areas to deliver our training, hope and unique survivor-led support.
