Lisa’s London Marathon Run for Kaleidoscopic
Kaleidoscopic UK are delighted to be one of the charities chosen by Lisa to raise funds for by taking on the mammoth challenge of London Marathon later this month.
We are honoured to have supported Lisa and so proud of her for all she is doing in raising awareness as well as funds. Sadly abusers continue post separation and use anything they can to further their abuse including using children.
To see how far Lisa has come is just amazing and we can’t wait to cheer her on.
Lisa’s story…
4 years ago on the outside I had the perfect life, a husband, 2 children and was lucky enough to not have to work. We enjoyed a good life with a good standard of living. My life revolved around taking my children to school and running around every weekend for the kids social/sporting activities. It’s fair to say most of my time as a mother was dedicated to doing the best for my children.
However, after separating from my husband back in 2021, I lost everything. I lost my marriage, my home, my children, my friends and literally walked away with the clothes on my back.
I am now trying to rebuild my life whilst dealing with the pain of the loss of my two beautiful children and it isn’t easy. Not a day goes by when I don’t think of them which is why I am putting my energy into running the London Marathon for two amazing charities which have been essential to my ongoing healing journey.
The two charities I am running for are Kaleidoscopic UK and Parental Alienation UK.
Please do show your support for Lisa by sponsoring her on this challenge as well as cheering her on if you see her in the sparkly T- shirt in training or on the day!
Go LISA!!! You’ve got this!!
